Steve Neff
Steve is the Commanding Officer and a co-founder of the Gettysburg Guard. Steve served a total of 8-years with the US Army following 9/11 and deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan. A graduate of the US Army's Ranger School (Class 06-07), the premiere combat leadership course of the US military and a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, Steve chose to fulfill General Abram's Charter by leaving the US Army, taking the lessons he learned and applying them to being a law enforcement officer. He has been a Police Officer for the last 11 years and currently serves as a Sergeant of a Special Assignment unit in his police department. Steve brings a unique perspective to the ROTC Podcast as he can speak from an intimate knowledge of combat experience while also analyzing information as an experienced investigator, and layering that with his vast amount of leadership experience.
